My Heroes

My Hero when I was young was always tall and broad shouldered karate champion (I have been spoilt by Bollywood you see), but when I grew up (physically), this all did not actually matter. A coward is a brave man with a mortgage, wife and a kid and parents support is what I learnt. He was not handsome not tall not very educated, but was of great substance a gentle man. A man need to be strong, does having children make a man? No I would say no. My outlook changed, I found heroes in everyday life and that is the beauty.

This Ganpati, I had been to bring the ganpati idol home with my in laws, while standing in the queue, I saw a wide range of people, I just love watching people its my passion, you could say, every one was prepared with a car and many people a shawl a coconut , agarbatti for the god and making noices, what I did not notice was a woman standing in front of me. We had to give our receipt and the person at the other side of the counter brought the idol, this lady had given the receipt and was waiting for the ganpati and when it arrived she took the idol in her hand and some one called "ganpati bappa" and we said "Morya". She and her daughter took the ganpati and left quietly, without their foot wears as is the custom, I noticed she did not have a mangalsutra and a lot of determination in her eyes. I imagined a lot of things, but for me she was a hero, god knows what had she gone through, her daughter was about 16 or 17, but when some one said Ganppati baapa , I was the most vocal when it came to shouting ... Morya....

कलम ३७७ चा निकाल लागला, छान झाल, पण ह्या टाईम्स ऑफ़ इंडिया ने जरा जास्त इन्टरेस्ट दाखावला, ठीक आहे पण पूर्ण पेपर त्यावर आणि दोन दिवस ? माला खरा तारा कही सोयेर सूतक नाहीये, विरोध नाहिये जवालिक तर अजिबात नाही, पण हे जास्त झालय।
नव्या Sea Link ला नाव दिल, (खर तर ठेवल) , आणि हे काम आपले माननीय खासदार श्री शरद शरदचंद्र रावजी पवार साहेब पन्त मालक (आणि खुप काहि असेल ) ह्यानी केला, छानच केल, आपण किती उदार असल्याच सीध केल, म्हणजे आता बघा अजुन दहा वर्षाने आपण गाँधी पुलावरून गाँधी रस्त्यावर आणि गांन्धी गल्लीतून गाँधी एअरपोर्ट वर येऊ आणि मग समुद्राचा नाव पण बदला , उदया गाँधी फॅमिली च्या कुत्र्या च नाव पण दिल जाईल, म्हणजे बघा Bruno/Tommy नगर वगेरे , न्हवे महाराष्ट्र च नाव पण बदलून टाका (हे माननीय आपल आडनाव तर बदलणार नाहीत न?)

शिर्वाड्करन्चि (त्यांचा नाव नका बदलू मालक) कणा नावाची एक कविता आहे ती एकदा वाचा म्हणावा , म्हणजे पाठीला आपण कणा असा म्हणतो हे क्ळ्ळेल। कीळस आली माला, इतक का वाकाव ? पैशे नाही का पुरत ह्याना? आधी माला मराठा समाजाने आरक्षण मागितला तेव्हा आस्चर्य वाटल (भोसले म्हणजे मराठा न?) आता नाही वाटत , देऊन टाका चाईला म्हणजे free seats वाढतील.

प्रश्न पडले माला खुप पण में कुणाला विचारलेच नाहित। गेल्या महिन्यात श्री लंके मधे खुप धुमाकुळ झाला आणि मग सरकार किती वाईट आहे असे खुप लोक म्हणाली , अरे पण त्या लोकांनी किती अशीच माणसे मार्लित आधी ?

कांग्रेस परत आली , म्हणजे किमान आपली पहिल्या इतकीच अधोगति होइल तर , परवच वाचल, महाराष्ट्र शेती मधे खुप घसरला ते , होइचाच, आपला शेती मंत्री मराठी आहे न ?

आपण , T20 च्या बाहेर गेलो असो, मग आता काय ? IPL तर झिन्क्लो ?

आठवणी

सहज मनात आल की आपली मूल मोठी जाली की काय लक्षात ठेवतील त्यांच्या लहान पणी च्या गोष्टी? आम्ही लहान पणी खुप मजा केलि असा म्हणतील पण काय नक्की लक्षात ठेवतील, टी वि ची कार्टून्स ? परीक्षा आल्या म्हणुन सुटीच्या आठवणी आल्या :) zaada वरच्या कय्र्या तोड़न, लापालापी, pakdapakDi नुसता हुन्दड्डण, हल्ली मूल दिवस भर घरी बसतात टीवी बघत ।
